Why don’t Christians and the Church spend as much time fighting divorce and infidelity as they do homosexuality and abortion?
My wife and I were having this discussion last night. It’s funny how the major politicians who are against homosexuality, and in keeping the “sanctity” of marriage, are on their third or fourth wife.

Obama finally states where he stands on gay marriage. Such a fucking fantastic announcement. Also, Fox news has announced that he’s ‘Declared War on Marriage’. But holy shit, I love this man.
All well and good- but unfortunately, there is a different between his personal beliefs on gay marriage, and his political beliefs on gay marriage.
I would have loved it if he said his beliefs, plain and simple- but since he threw in the “my personal beliefs”, if he got a bill in front of him concerning gay marriage, who’s to say that his political beliefs won’t make him veto it?

So, I have this chronic pain in my left heel…
I work in a warehouse, as some of you may know. It’s a fun job, I work with airplane parts for a certain major airplane manufacturing company, and part of the job means I walk somewhere between 30-50 miles a week. Great for losing weight. Hell on my feet. Particularly my left heel. Not sure why, but after the day is over when I come home and sit down for a couple of minutes, when I stand up on my bare feet there is a shooting pain in my heel. Doesn’t hurt after standing and walking for a few minutes, but man- the pain is at times unbearable. So, my wife resolved to buy me some slippers to help alleviate the pain while at home. I started looking, and found a perfect pair. But, alas, they were sold out- so I did the reasonable, and rational, thing and put my email address in for an alert once they were back in stock. Got the email, ordered the slippers as well as something for my wife, and they came yesterday.
Awesome, comfortable slippers, really help my heel. But, my kids also discovered them this morning. Here’s V wearing them. Pretty friggin’ cute, huh?
